Wellness Visits can address various concerns, including:

• Family Members Living Far Away: An adult child or family member living out of state who wants regular updates about their loved one.
• Recent Loss of a Spouse or Partner: Checking on seniors who may be grieving the loss of a loved one and are at risk of loneliness or depression.
• Concerns About Cognitive or Behavioral Changes: Seniors in the early stages of dementia or those exhibiting signs of forgetfulness or confusion.
• Possible Hoarding Behaviors: Observing living conditions to ensure a safe and clutter-free environment.
• Health and Safety Monitoring: Ensuring the individual has not fallen, is eating regularly, has food available, and is taking medications as prescribed.
• Neighbor or Friend Concerns: Situations where a third party has noticed changes and alerted the family.

Our caregivers focus on providing friendly reassurance and safety monitoring during these visits. Wellness Visits do not include personal care services but allow us to assess the individual’s overall well-being and provide peace of mind. Services include:

• Health and Safety Checks: Monitoring for signs of physical, emotional, or mental distress.
• Engagement and Socialization: Offering companionship through meaningful conversations and activities to reduce feelings of loneliness.
• Household Observations: Checking that the pantry and refrigerator have food, medication has been taken, and the home environment is safe and organized.
• Communication with Family: Providing updates to family members about their loved one’s overall condition, including observations about cognitive function, living conditions, and eating habits.
